Speaking to reporters in Mudanya town of north-western province of Bursa on Friday, Bosch Group's Turkey Director Hermann Butz said that Bosch had entered the Turkish market in 1910.
Celebrating our 100th year in Turkey in 2010 is an important mile stone for us, Butz underlined.
Up until today, we have grown with stability. To date, we have made investments worth 1.5 billion euros in Turkey. We have approximately 8,300 employees. In 2009, our sales were worth 1.4 billion euros and we reached an exports figure of 800 million euros. As such, we have made contributions to Turkey and we will continue to make contributions. This year marks our 100th year in Turkey. We plan to make investments worth 100 million euros in Turkey in 2010 and we will complete such investments by the end of the year, Butz also said.
