Commanders of Black Sea Naval Cooperation Task Group (Blackseafor) visited Governor Recep Kizilcik of Turkey's northern province of Trabzon.
This year, Russian Admiral Yuri Zemsky is commanding Blackseafor which was shaped to develop good neighborhood relations among Black Sea countries, and pursue peace and stability in Black Sea.
Kizilcik said that Black Sea became a lake of peace thanks to the cooperation of submarines and vessels of Turkey and Russia.
Zemsky said that they were serving for regional peace.
Vessels of Blackseafor will be open to public visit on Saturday and Sunday. The vessels will depart from Trabzon port on Tuesday.
Blackseafor was created in 2001 under the leadership of Turkey, with the participation of all other Black Sea littoral states, namely Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia. The Blackseafor founding agreement was signed in Istanbul on April 2, 2001.
