BAGHDAD
Five people were killed and ten others injured on Fridayin two separate attacks in Iraqi capital Baghdad, a security source said.
A booby-trapped car exploded in Al-Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, killing three and injuring ten, the source told Anadolu Agency.
Two more people were gunned down by unidentified militants in western Baghdad's Al-Ghazaliya district, the source said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
According to the Interior Ministry,at least 1,000 Iraqis were killed and 1,800 injured in differentattacks in January alone.
Although most attacks go unclaimed, Iraqi authorities usually point the finger at Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
