At least six people were killed and 24 others were injured in three separate blasts across the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Sunday, security forces said.
Four people, including three soldiers and a civilian were killed in a car bomb blast at a checkpoint in Al Tarmia neighborhood. Five other soldiers and four civilians were also wounded in the incident, a security source said.
In the second incident, two people were killed and 11 others were injured when a parked car exploded at a time when Shia pilgrims were reportedly on way to a shrine in northern Baghdad, the source added.
A third blast left four people injured in the city, the source said.
Sectarian violence continues to rock Baghdad as the government attempts to tackle Daesh extremists in the north and west of the country.
