Turkish FM Fidan receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Nuland in Ankara ( Murat Gok - Anadolu Agency )

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan received on Sunday US Deputy Secretary of State and Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, according to an official statement.
Türkiye's Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yildiz said on X that the two officials exchanged views on the developments in the Middle East and Africa.
According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Nuland came to Türkiye at the invitation of Burak Akcapar, also deputy foreign minister for Türkiye, within the scope of the Türkiye-US Strategic Mechanism.
In the comprehensive consultations to be held during the Strategic Mechanism meeting, views will be exchanged on regional and international issues as well as Türkiye-US relations.
