The supply of American arms to Ukraine through Poland has returned to previous levels, the Polish foreign minister said Wednesday.

The American military base near the southeastern Polish city of Rzeszow, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the Polish-Ukrainian border, is now receiving its normal supply of weapons destined for Ukraine, Radoslaw Sikorski said, according to public broadcaster TVP.

The development came after the US announced it would lift a ban on American military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine as part of Tuesday’s ceasefire talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia between US and Ukrainian delegations.

The talks resulted in Ukraine agreeing to a 30-day ceasefire proposal.

Earlier this month, the US suspended the delivery of US military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine after a tense meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office.

The US will now “have contact” with Russia about the agreement reached with Ukraine, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters in Ireland on Wednesday.

"We all eagerly await the Russian response and urge them strongly to consider ending all hostilities," Rubio said. “If they say no, it'll tell us a lot about what their goals are and what their mindset is."
