A video shows masked US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents dragging a woman from her car during a tense standoff in Minneapolis on Tuesday, as she repeatedly tells officers she is disabled and trying to reach a medical appointment.

In the footage, posted by Freedom News TV and filmed just blocks from where Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by an ICE agent last week, the woman is seen behind the wheel as agents order her to move.

When she hesitates, one agent shatters a passenger-side window, and others pull her from the vehicle.

As she is forced to the ground, she shouts: “I’ve been beat up by police before. I’m disabled, trying to go to the doctor up there, that’s why I couldn’t move.” She later adds that she is an “autistic disabled person.”

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson told The Independent that officers were executing an arrest warrant nearby and that the woman was detained for obstruction after ignoring commands.

“As officers carried out their law enforcement duties, significant crowd surrounded them and began impeding law enforcement operations – a federal crime,” the spokesperson said.

The incident unfolded amid escalating protests against ICE operations in Minneapolis, where DHS says more than 2,000 arrests have been made statewide since early December.
