Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gather in New York to call for end to Gaza genocide
Protesters shut down Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan

NEW YORK
Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in New York City on Monday to call for an end to the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The protesters shut down the Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.
Waving Palestinian flags, they also called for an end to American support for Israel.
The protest came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Washington, DC for a meeting with President Donald Trump.
The protesters also held signs saying "We are sick from genocide" and chanted slogans like "Free, Free Palestine!"
More than 50,700 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
