ANKARA

The Maryland-based Diyanet Center of America (DCA) announced plans on Wednesday to host an annual summer camp for all children between 7-13 years of age.

The four-week camp to be held at the largest mosque in the U.S. will include classes in the Quran -- the Islamic holy book -- as well as in Islamic studies, swimming, paper marbling and archery.

Registrations will be accepted between July 1 and 26.

DCA was established in 1993 by a group of Turkish-Americans to provide religious, social and educational services to Turkish immigrants and Muslims living in the U.S.

The DCA campus resembles a small village featuring a mosque, school, sports complex, as well as a bathhouse, cultural center, restaurant and guest house.
