Death toll from boat collision in Peru rises to 20 people
Accident takes place in Huallaga River in Peru due to thick fog, 50 people missing

BOGOTA, Colombia
The death toll from the collision of two boats in northeastern Peru reached 20, according to local media on Monday.
The incident took place early on Sunday on the Huallaga River in Yurimaguas province due to thick fog and left 50 people missing.
There were 80 passengers in the boats, according to authorities.
Search and rescue efforts are ongoing.
Passengers who reached shore with their own efforts after the accident said that there were 20 children on the boats.
