Turkish President invited to visit Kuwait
Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has invited Turkish President Abdullah Gul to visit the Gulf Arab country.

Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has invited Turkish President Abdullah Gul to visit the Gulf Arab country.
During a Thursday meeting with the Turkish President, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Turkey Abdullah Al-Thuwaikh handed a letter from the Kuwaiti Emir to Gul that included an official invitation to visit Kuwait, according to the official Kuwaiti news agency.
The Turkish President has accepted the Emir's invitation and promised to visit Kuwait soon, the diplomat said.
Al-Thuwaikh said that the letter also focused on strong and deeply-rooted relations between Kuwait and Turkey.
Kuwait and Turkey established diplomatic relations in 1969. The Turkish embassy was opened in Kuwait in 1971.
Kuwaiti-Turkish trade exchange amounts to $700 annually.
