CAIRO
Six policemen were injured Friday in a bomb attack on a bridge west of Cairo, the Egyptian Health Ministry said.
Two explosive devices had exploded at a convoy of police personnel carriers on the Giza Bridge.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Interior Ministry has yet to comment on the attack.
Egypt has seen an uptick of attacks targeting security installations in recent months.
While Egyptian authorities blame the Muslim Brotherhood, from which ousted president Mohamed Morsi hails, for the attacks, the Islamist group denies any involvement.
