Six people were killed during bomb attacks conducted by the Taliban in Afghanistan's Herat, Jawzjan and Host provinces, according to the statement released by the Ministry of Defense.
A roadside bomb detonated in Shindand region of Herat province in western Afghanistan, killing three soldiers.
Meanwhile, two people were also killed and two wounded in an attack by Taliban militants on a police station in Jawzjan, security sources told AA.
Assailants attacked to the station which was controlling the gas well in Shahrak region, Jawzjan Police Chief Fakir Muhammad Jawzjani said.
One worker at the gas well and one militant were killed, while two workers were wounded during clashes after the attack.
In Host city, one solider was killed in a bomb attack.
The Ministry of Defense announced many explosive materials belonging to the Taliban were seized in operations staged by Afghan soldiers across the country.
