Russia sent humanitarian aid to the Syrian capital of Damascus on Monday, according to Russia's national news agency, ITAR-TASS.
According to ITAR-TASS news, Moscow and Voronezh citizens collected winter clothes and dry milk for civilians.
Coordinator of the group for protection of Christian values at the lower house of the Russian parliament, Sergey Gavrilov said that they had already delivered aid to Syria in January.
Russian legislators visited Syria in January and met with Syrian parliamentarians, representatives of civil society, and religious organizations.
