A suicide bomber injured two police officers in an attack at a prison in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, Afghan officials said.
Two prisoners were killed as they tried to escape following the blast in Zabul, police chief Rog Levaney said.
Meanwhile, at least 10 soldiers were wounded by a roadside bomb in Kabul on Sunday. The remote-controlled device detonated as a military vehicle passed, Kabul police spokesman Hashmatullah Stanikzai told The Anadolu Agency.
