MELBOURNE, Australia
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 struck the Pacific island nation of Tongo on Sunday night.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the temblor as hitting 259 kilometers (161 miles) southeast of 'Ohonua, the capital of ʻEua island, at a depth of 35 kilometers (21.7 miles).
