ANKARA
An explosion at a Mitsubishi-owned chemical factory killed a number of people in the Mie prefecture in Japan on Thursday.
A Mie police spokesperson said the explosion was triggered by ‘’some sort of chemical reaction during plant operations,’’ BBC reports.
There are scores of casualties due to the blast, eyewitnesses said.
