Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's health condition was improving day by day, the top media official in Talabani's office said.
Speaking to AA correspondent, Barzan Sheikh Othman said that a news story published by a French newspaper that claimed that Talabani could be declared brain death was baseless.
Othman said that the news story was not true and his health condition was getting better every passing day.
Talabani was hospitalized in Baghdad after suffering a stroke on December 18. Later he was transferred to Germany for treatment.
