Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's helicopter had to make an emergency landing on Sunday according to Iran's news agency IRNA.
Ahmadinejad was en route to inaugurate a highway tunnel in a mountainous region of northeast Iran when the accident occured.
The reason of the emergency landing is unknown and Ahmadinejad was unhurt, IRNA reported.
