One of the two names who will conduct talks to convince the International Olympics Committee (IOC) to readmit wrestling on to the program of 2020 olympic games will be Rodika Yaksi, a member of the Executive Board of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA).
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Yaksi said that "while it will be a tough job, I was honored to have been designated as one of two people to hold talks with the IOC."
"I will meet with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and request from him to get in touch with the IOC," Yaksi stressed.
The IOC's Executive Board in a meeting in Switzerland on February 12 decided to remove wrestling from the program of the 2020 olympic games.
