Turkish Greco-Roman Team ends World Championships in third

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan 

Turkey's National Greco-Roman Team has completed the 2014 World Wrestling Championships in third place in Uzbekistan's capital city of Tashkent.

Riza Kayaalp and Yunus Ozel won silver medals in the greco-roman style in the 130kg and 71kg divisions respectively on Sunday.

Selcuk Cebi and Cenk Ildem received bronze medals in the 80kg and 98kg divisions.

Having won four medals, Turkey completed the event in third position after collecting 35 points in the team classification.

Iran ended the championships as team winners after winning 39, while Russia ended the tournament as runners-up with 37 points.

The Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, Akif Cagatay Kilic, and the President of National Olympic Committee of Turkey, Ugur Erdener, watched the games at the Gymnastics Palace Sports Hall in Tashkent.
