Bosnia's Izetbegovic: Turks have exceptional authority

SARAJEVO

In the Eid congratulation, Bakir Izetbegovic, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, wished peace and prosperity to all Muslims of the world, especially the Syrians and Egyptians who face violence in their countries.

After the Eid prayer in Gazi Husrev bey's mosque in Sarajevo Izetbegovic said:

"Happy Bayram (Eid) primarily to our brothers in Syria and Egypt who have  spent a difficult, bloody Ramadan, may the situation calm there by the will of God and may Muslims succeed in their struggle for the freedom" said Izetbegovic.

Izetbegovic added that "people in Turkey have an exceptional authority, perhaps the best in the world".

"Every nation should have wished to have such authority that will ensure them economic success and allow them the pride, dignity and to regain their own roots, their own culture, their own identity, as it did this government" said Izetbegovic.
