Zlatko Lagumdzija, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has said that he expected the betterment of the relationship between Bosnia and Serbia if Boris Tadic, leader of the Democratic Party (DS), and his coalition win the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Lagumdzija told AA correspondent on Tuesday that the first round of elections resulted as he expected. He also said that the winners of the elections were democrats, socialists and liberals.
The Bosnian foreign minister said that he supported Muammer Zukorlic, the Mufti of Sanjak, and Cedomir Jovanovic, leader of Liberal Democratic Party.
The first round of elections was held on May 6 and presidential candidate Boris Tadic got 24.81 percent of votes while his rival Tomislav Nikolic, the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party, got 24.71 percent of votes and managed to reach the second round.
Nikolic gained most of the seats at the 250-seat parliament.
