CAIRO
Arab League Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi will visit Kuwait on Saturday where he will begin preparations for next month's Arab Summit.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, al-Arabi said he planned to meet with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah – along with other senior officials – to discuss preparations for the upcoming summit, due to be held on March 25 and 26.
The Arab League chief also said he would visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE)on February 25 and 26 to attend a conference devoted to crisis management.
While in the UAE, Al-Arabi is also scheduled to address the Gulf Center for Strategic Studies to discuss "the future of joint Arab action."
