YAOUNDE, Cameroon
At least fifteen people were killed on Monday in twin suicide bombings that ripped through in a crowded market in northern Fotokol town of Cameroon, security sources told Anadolu Agency.
No group has yet to claim responsibility for the attacks, but Cameroonian authorities say it is probably Boko Haram as similar incidents in the past have usually been blamed on the group.
Fotokol is a town and commune in the Logone-et-Chari Department, located in Cameroon’s Far North Region.
In February, violent confrontations erupted in Fotokol when the Cameroonian army attempted to retake the town from Boko Haram militants.
