ANKARA
A total of 15 people were killed when security forces opened fire during the protests after Friday prayer in Syria.
London-based Syrian Human Rights Watch Organization stated on Friday that people staged protests against the Syrian administration after the Friday prayer, and 15 were killed when security forces opened fire on protestors.
Security forces opened fire during protests in Damascus, Haseke, Homs and Idlib which killed 15 people and injured many others, said sources.
Sources also said that strong explosions occurred in Homs and Dara cities.
Local sources said that missiles were launched near Halid bin Velid Mosque in Homs, adding that there were many casualties.
Death toll is at least 13,500 since March, 2011 --the date violence began in the country.
