14 killed in Mosul car bomb attack

MOSUL (AA) - At least 14 people were killed and 25 wounded on Sunday in a suicide car bomb attack targeting a queue of soldiers waiting to receive their wages in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

Six civilians, including women and children, and 8 soldiers were among those killed in the suicide attack with a bomb-laden vehicle in Mosul's eastern Al-Faisaliyyah neighborhood, according to security sources.

Mosul security forces have launched an investigation.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
