Turkish stock exchange begins week looking up
BIST 100 gains 38.5 points

Türkiye's benchmark stock opened Monday at 10,247.28 points, increasing 0.38% or 38.51 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 was down 1.56% and closed at 10,208.76 points with a daily transaction volume of 129 billion Turkish liras ($3.09 billion).
As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.9540 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9450 to the euro, and 56.3135 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,252.40, while Brent crude oil traded at $66.5 per barrel.
