Turkish stock exchange begins midweek down
BIST 100 drops 26.63 points at opening session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,787.48 points, down 0.25% or 26.63 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was up 0.74% at 10,814.11 points, with a daily transaction volume of 117.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.81 billion).
As of 10.13 am local time (0713GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.7130 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.4949 to the euro, and 55.9495 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,036.55, while Brent crude oil was trading at $65.85 per barrel.
