Turkish prefabricated building manufacturer Karmod promoted its portfolio of plastic-based construction solutions at the Big 5 Show in Dubai, the company said in a statement on Monday.

At the region’s largest construction industry gathering, the Türkiye-based manufacturer exhibited products including its polyethylene mobile toilets, liquid storage tanks, and its flagship debris chute system – designed to safely transport construction debris from high-rise buildings.

Sales Manager of Karmod's Plastics Department Selcuk Kaya said the company held a series of bilateral meetings with delegations from Gulf and African countries during the fair.

Demand in Dubai’s construction sector for the debris-chute system remains particularly strong, he said.

“Our debris chute product is widely preferred in Dubai’s high-rise projects, and the fair gave us an opportunity to present it to a broader audience,” Kaya noted.

“We also showcased our ready-concept mobile toilet and shower units, which see significant demand in the region, and briefed visitors on our rainwater-harvesting and fire-water storage tanks,” he added.

Kaya noted that the event provided valuable insight into the expectations of customers in the regional market.

“We offer solutions to multiple sectors with our composite and plastic products. Through the fair, we gathered detailed feedback on requirements for liquid storage systems and other items,” he said.

“We aim to move quickly toward customized production tailored to these needs. It has been a highly productive event for us,” he added.
