The majority of Thursday’s papers dedicated their front pages to news about women’s murders across Turkey.

“Enough is enough,” was MILLIYET’s headline, reporting that such killings in Turkey continue unabated.

The newspaper details some recent nationwide violence against women, including murders and attempted murders in Istanbul, the northwestern province of Yalova, the central Anatolian province of Konya and Adana province in the south.

In Istanbul, a 39-year-old musician called Deniz Deger was strangled earlier this week by someone probably she knew MILLIYET claims, adding that there was no sign of forced entry to her home.

In the second incident in Yalova 31-year-old Seda Camgoz was stabbed to death. Her former husband Bulent Diler was later arrested, according to the paper.

“100, 101.. not stopping,” read VATAN’s front page, a reference to the number of the women who have been killed across Turkey since the beginning of 2015.

The paper added that police protection, electronic bracelets and panic buttons had failed to prevent violence against women.

In other news, HURRIYET covered a story claiming that Turkey’s Energy Ministry has refused to submit an international report about the country's first nuclear power plant project – Akkuyu.

“Akkuyu is secret of the state,” was HURRIYET’s headline, adding that the Energy Ministry refused a Mersin court’s request to see the International Atomic Energy Agency’s report on the Akkuyu nuclear plant project, citing state security as the reason.

Despite countries such as Poland, Belarus and the United Arab Emirates already sharing similar reports with the public, “Turkey hides the report,” HURRIYET said.

The construction of the nuclear plant will begin in 2016; the first reactor is estimated to become operational in 2019.
