ANKARA (AA) - July 31, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic on Tuesday discussed bilateral relations and the issue of Syria in a meeting they held in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
Diplomatic sources have told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that Izetbegovic requested from Turkey to promote neighborly relations.
Davutoglu informed Izetbegovic that they would work to promote the already good relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Davutoglu underlined the importance of stability for Bosnia-Herzegovina and told Izetbegovic that Turkey's support to Bosnia-Herzegovina's NATO bid would continue.
Davutoglu provided information to Izetbegovic on the latest developments in Syria and expressed that Syria was getting bombed as Bosnia was in the past.
