ANKARA (AA) - July 31, 2012 - Around 5 million Turkish liras (TL) have been collected in bank accounts in an aid campaign launched by the Turkish Foundation of Religious Affairs (TDV) in the past 4 days to help Arakan Muslims.
Most of the donations were made to bank accounts while 27,000 chose to send aid by sending an SMS.
All interested individuals can send an SMS by only writing the word "Arakan" to all GSM operators by dialing 5601 and make a donation of 5 TL.
