ANKARA
Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Alireza Bikdeli has stated he did not see a problem which might cause a damage to Turkey-Iran relations in long term and added, the continuity of the two countries' relations would help solving the problem in Syria.
Bikdeli replied the questions of Anadolu Agency (AA) over Syria crisis and Iran's nuclear power talks.
Bikdeli assessed the meeting of Iran and "5+1" group in Kazakhstan's Almaty and reminded that the process took start in Istanbul and since the beginning, Iran made open and comprehensive suggestions.
Iranian ambassador added, Iran would attend negotiations with specific and routing suggestions and continued on by saying, "If a cooperation-based approach was presented within the framework of mutual respect, the Almaty negotiations can be concluded in such success."
In this period of time, Turkey's role was very constructive, Bikdeli said, and added, "That is why we paid attention to keep holding negotiations in Istanbul. Turkey's role on bilateral relations were very important and made relations improve in all fields."
Upon the topic of Israeli apology to Turkey, Bikdeli highlighted, "In the past three years, Turkey, with its constant resistance, showed us we can take what we want to take from Israel."
Ambassador Bikdeli defined Israel as "a murderer and an occupanying regime", and more efforts should be exerted to save Palestine from this regime.
Furthermore,Bikdeli replied the questions of AA about how to conclude the crisis in Syria which has been going on for over two years.
Bikdeli underscored that Syrian people were suffering and some dirty hands were chasing after to form a new Afghanistan in the Middle East.
Bikdeli said, the selection of Syria as a target was not pointless, and added the solution had to be fulfilled peacefully.
He pointed out that Iran was supporting negotiations to start between sides without any preconditions were laid. Bikdeli underlined, the only solution at this point was "Syria Syria".
