International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Permanent Representative in Turkey Mark Lewis said Turkey's outlook in the medium term was good.
Speaking at a gala dinner as part of an economic symposium at the Gediz University, Lewis said that they expected Turkey's gross national product to grow 2.3 percent in 2012, overall inflation figures to go down and an improvement in Turkey's current accounts deficit.
In order to facilitate a well growth, the participation of women to the work force must be encouraged, Lewis also said.
