İSTANBUL
Turkey's economy minister Zafer Caglayan said the government had set its growth target in the medium-term economic program as 4 percent.
"Growth figures in the first quarter may be slightly down, but we believe Turkey will continue to grow in the second, third and fourth quarters," Caglayan told reporters in Istanbul.
Caglayan's remarks came after he met International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde, World Bank Managing Director Sri Mulyani Indrawati and CEOs of international companies in Istanbul.
