Turkey's economy minister said Turkey and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) could sign various agreements with the fund from now on.
Zafer Caglayan said Turkey would not only sign monetary agreements with the IMF in coming days, but it could sign various agreements with the fund.
"I would like to say that IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde has told me that 'Turkey does not need IMF, but the IMF needs a strong country like Turkey'," Caglayan told reporters in Istanbul.
