ANKARA
Turkey's current account deficit narrowed to $3.36 billion in June from $3.99 billion in May, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey reported on Tuesday.
The deficit dropped $812 million from June of the previous year.
The 12-month rolling deficit was at $44.7 billion.
"The improvement in the current account mainly stemmed from the balance of goods item, which decreased by $1.4 billion from June 2014," the report said.
The services surplus decreased by $460 million to $2.29 billion, while the primary income deficit was at $909 million.
