ANKARA
The Justice and Development (AK) Party government is decisive in the solution of the Kurdish issue, Turkish Deputy PM Besir Atalay said on Wednesday at the AK Party Ankara HQ.
Atalay told journalists at the AK party's headquarters that now that the local elections are over, the AK Party government will continue making democratic reforms and to work for the Kurdish solution process.
"The solution process and democratic politics are significant factors in the prevention of violence and conflict. Our target is to stop violence and we are unhesitantly decisive to continue with the solution process and democratization," said Atalay.
Atalay also cautioned that the solution process has its own peculiarities and rules, and thus should be conducted extremely carefully.
