Turkey and India signed a cooperation protocol in the area of sports on Tuesday.
Turkish Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kilic and Indian Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Ajay Maken attended the signing ceremony in Turkish capital of Ankara.
Kilic said that Turkish and Indian youths would take solid steps for their future with the protocol that was signed today.
The protocol would enable Turkish and Indian youths to use youth camps mutually, sports teams of the countries to pay mutual visits and to hold cultural activities, he said.
Maken said that Turkey and India were the two countries possessing several common aspects, stating that the two countries would benefit from a sound cooperation in the area of sports.
