Ulueren attended a reception organized by Turkish "Isik (Light) Schools" to commemorate both Eid al Adha and Republic Day of Turkey.
He passed the holiday greetings of Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu and said that they were proud to have Turkish schools all over the world.
Ulueren said that he read success stories of the Turkish schools in Uganda frequently in local newspapers and happy to see that people of Uganda like Turks. He stated that Turkey started to gain seat in East Africa.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Turkish businessmen and philanthropists distributed meat to thousands of families in need and toys to children in Uganda.
