WASHINGTON
A spokesperson with the US Defense Department has denied Turkish-language media reports that he backed a report on the Wall Street Journal alleging a deadly strike against civilians in Turkey was linked to intel provided by a US military drone.
"I did not make any comments on the WSJ report or the content of the report," George Little told reporters in response to a question by the Anadolu Agency correspondent.
Little said the WSJ report would not hurt ties between Turkey and the United States, adding that military cooperation as well as joint efforts against the PKK would continue.
