TIRANA (AA) - September 21, 2012 - Turkish environment minister said on Friday that there was need for solidarity among countries in combating climate change.
Environment & Urbanization Minister Erdogan Bayraktar participated in a conference on the climate change in Albanian capital of Tirana.
Turkey and Balkan countries had close neighborhood and great economic relations as well as common cultural ties, he said.
Turkey was ready to share its experiences with regional countries, he said.
Bayraktar said climate change was one of the most important problems in the world, stating that's why a sound solidarity was needed in combating climate change.
Bayraktar said that they aimed to utilize clean and renewable energy efficiently and implement an effective waste method.
