SIRNAK (AA) - September 8, 2012 - A Turkish military operation, staged against PKK terrorists who had attacked Beytussebap town of the south-eastern province of Sirnak recently, has ended at Mount Kato on September 7.
In a statement released Saturday, the Governorship of Sirnak stressed that the military operation had begun on September 3, when terrorists attacked Beytussebap, and ended on September 7.
"26 PKK terrorists were killed during operations that lasted four days. Two Turkish security personnel were martyred while five others were wounded," the statement also said.
