ISTANBUL (AA) - Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul started at Kurucesme Arena, located directly on the shores of the Bosphorus.
Various fashion shows were held on the first day of the fashion week presented by American Express.
The line up of designers that will showcase their Spring/Summer 2014 Collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul include a number of Turkish fashion designers.
Over the course of five days, thousands of people are expected to travel from around the world to Istanbul’s runways to attend shows, report on the trends, plan assortments.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul presented by American Express is endorsed by Istanbul Ready-Made Garment and Apparel Exporters' Association (IHKIB), the Fashion Designers Association (MTD), United Brands Association (BMD) and the Istanbul Moda Academy (IMA) who paved the way to make this event possible.
