ANKARA
Representatives of media organizations in the Balkans visited headquarters of The Anadolu Agency (AA) in Ankara, the Turkish capital, and received information about the agency.
Media representatives from Slovenia, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Bulgaria met with the AA Executive Board Chairman and Director General Kemal Ozturk.
Reminding that the AA's regional office in the Balkans was launched last March, Ozturk stated that media organizations in the region were getting AA's broadcast free of charge.
Ozturk said that from the beginning of the new year, the media organs had to pay for the news, videos and photographs AA produce.
During the meeting, AA's structure, ongoing improvement and development works were introduced by the editor-in-chief of the AA, Ahmet Tek.
