ANKARA
Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) requested information from the Israeli embassy in Ankara on a recent attack perpetrated by Jewish groups on the Psalmist Mosque in Jerusalem.
According to diplomatic officials, an official with the Israeli embassy in Ankara was invited to the Turkish MFA to provide information about the attack on the Psalmist Mosque which resulted in the destruction of Ottoman marbles and tiles.
The Israeli official was asked to conduct an investigation into the mosque attack, officials said.
