Turkey still supports the stationing of Patriot missiles on its soil, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told NATO Wednesday.
Speaking at a meeting of fellow foreign ministers, Davutoglu said there is no problem with the missile defense system.
In 2012, the radar missile system was posted in Malatya province, Turkey, to protect against possible missile attack from Syria.
Davutoglu also talked about the crisis in Iraq, where tensions remain particularly high in Kirkuk district as Iraqi government forces clash with fighters led by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
He said: "All NATO member countries expressed their strong support on all the possible risks that threaten Turkey from Iraq and Syria.”
The minister held an earlier meeting U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
