Spokesperson for the United Nations (UN) Martin Nesirky on Wednesday said that the continuation of the negotiations process in Cyprus was important.
Asked by the Anadolu Agency (AA) about how the negotiations process may be affected in Cyprus after the Greek Cypriot administration's leader Demetris Christofias said that he would not be a candidate for leadership at the elections of 2013, Nesirky stated that it would not be appropriate for the UN to make comments on an individual election process.
