Bus carrying workers crashes in Turkey killing 5
Workers were traveling to Sanliurfa to mark May Day event
SANLIURFA, Turkey
At least five people were killed and 13 others injured on Wednesday after a bus crashed into a car in southeastern Turkey, officials said.
The crash caused it to roll over on the Birecik-Suruc highway.
The workers on the bus were en-route to Sanliurfa province to mark International Workers' Day also known as May Day.
"Unfortunately, five citizens lost their lives in the accident; 13 others are receiving medical treatment," provincial Governor Abdullah Erin said.
